I am building a life I don’t have to abandon myself to belong in.
For so long, I made choices around keeping everything together. Keeping the peace. Being who others needed me to be. I became so used to making room for everyone else that I stopped noticing how little room I had left for myself.
Now, I am asking: Can I be honest here? Do I want this? Does this choice bring me closer to myself?
The answers are shaping the life I am building.
I want love I can breathe inside. Relationships where my truth is welcome. A home where my children and I can settle, laugh, and feel at ease. I want to recognize myself in the life I wake up to.
I am allowing Source to guide me through the uncertainty. In prayer. In stillness. In the quiet moments when I stop reaching for an answer and listen.
I don’t have the whole map. But I can take the next step without betraying what I know is true.
Some days, that means holding a boundary even when my voice shakes. Some days, it means accepting help, resting, or giving myself permission to want something different.
I still grieve. I still get scared. There are things I miss deeply.
But I am beginning to feel the possibility of a life built from love, truth, and authenticity. And I want to meet that possibility with an open heart.
This time, my own voice will be part of the foundation.
